This video shows you that India has Unsinkable Aircraft Carriers In The Indian Ocean : China A No Match. India’s dominance in Indian Ocean is intact. China recently launched its first indigenous aircraft carrier. Construction of the 70,000 tonne Type 001A carrier which may be named Shandong started in 2013 and it is likely to be commissioned in 2020. It will be China’s second carrier after it commissioned a modified Ukrainian Kuznetsov class aircraft cruiser Varyag into its navy as Liaoning in 2012. Many Indian commentators have written about the implication of China acquiring its second aircraft carrier on India’s security. A column in Bloomberg View said the Shandong “will give China an edge for the first time in the carrier race with its Asian rival, a literal two-to-one advantage”. The premise is wrong on various counts. First, China’s existing carrier, the Liaoning, is being used to train the crew to operate aircraft carriers and is not on operational deployment yet. Compare this with India’s aircraft carrier: The INS Vikramaditya is fully operational. And India also has decades of experience in operating aircraft carriers, it has used them in warfare. Second, the Shandong has only been launched, it doesn’t mean it’s ready for operational deployment. It will undergo outfitting with various systems and then undergo sea trials before being commissioned around 2020. India launched its first indigenous carrier, Vikrant, in 2013 and it is likely to be commissioned in the early 2020s after delays for various reasons. Imagery expert Colonel Vinayak Bhat, who analysed the pictures of the Shandong, says it is at least two years away from commissioning. He says that the engines of the carrier have not yet been started and no radar or weapons installed. It also does not have the arrestor cables and the pictures suggest a lot of areas being covered up where work probably has not been completed, such as the ammunition elevator and jet blast deflectors. Moreover, they don’t have enough J-15 fighter jets for the carrier. Third, even after China commissions the Shandong, it will not send both its carriers on permanent deployment in the Indian Ocean. China’s primary areas of interest are the hotly contested waters and islands of the East and South China Sea. The US maintains a potent naval presence in the area. China will maintain both its carriers there although it will make symbolic port visits in the Indian Ocean region especially to Gwadar in Pakistan. China plans a four- to six-carrier navy which will give it the capability to permanently deploy in the Indian Ocean. But that will take a couple of decades at best and depends on the trajectory of the Chinese economy, which is slowing down. By that time, India will have three aircraft carriers in service. Fourth, the two Chinese carriers are conventionally powered, not nuclear, which means they cannot be put on extended deployment. They lack the logistics capability to operate far away from Chinese shores. china aircraft carrier, china carrier, china economy vs indian economy, china new aircraft carrier, china vs india, china vs india economy, chinese aircraft, chinese aircraft carrier, chinese carrier, chinese navy, chinese navy news, chinese navy ships, india vs china, indian aircraft carrier, indian aircraft carrier latest news, indian carrier, indian economy vs chinese economy, indian navy, indian navy in, indian navy ships, navy india, new aircraft carrier, pla navy ====================================================================================================== DISCLAIMER: Each and every content used in this video is not imaginary. The Istanbul chief prosecutor's office on Thursday launched an investigation into two journalists who featured Charlie Hebdo's cover with the image of the Prophet Muhammad in their columns, the state-run news agency reported. The Anadolu Agency said prosecutors were investigating whether Ceyda Karan and Hikmet Cetinkaya violated laws against "inciting hatred and enmity" and "insulting religious values". They are expected to testify next week, it said. Karan and Cetinkaya are columnists for the pro-secular newspaper Cumhuriyet which on Wednesday printed a selection of cartoons and articles in a show of solidarity with Charlie Hebdo. "I am not someone who incites animosity, hatred or revenge among the public by using religion. I was condemning terror. I tried to explain how that religious figure was responding to terror. How is that a crime?" Cetinkaya said in reference to the figure of Islam's revered Prophet Muhammad on the Charlie Hebdo cover. The four-page pullout did not feature the controversial cover, but the two journalists on Wednesday used small, black-and-white images of the cover as their column headers. Cumhuriyet's editor in chief Utku Cakirozer said the paper took care to respect religious sensitivities, adding that the two journalists' decision to print the cover was "the personal choice of our writers". On Wednesday, a court ordered a ban on access to four websites showing Charlie Hebdo's cover after a lawyer reportedly filed a petition saying the sites were a danger to public order. However, the web pages could still be accessed on Thursday. Peridot ... Amethyst ... Heliodor... these cabinets were built up like skyscrapers to showcase a collection of the small treasures as a reflection to personalities. Like a totem pole, these cabinets stack up into column forms and symbolize stages of human thought. ... Cabinet Column :: Peridot - Simplicity and sentimental value started this concept of a Cabinet Column, and Peridot was started as a Mother's Day present. My mother was restoring cabinets she found at the time and decided she would learn to paint by restorating them. When Mother's Day came around, I still needed a gift, so I spent a day constructing, painting and fitting wood into an inverted frame to create a miniature cabinet presented like a painting. I painted the cabinet green, because it was her favorite color, and using a variety of symbolic red objects, I glued in items that reflected my mother's personality. The oriental vases represented her respect for the arts and the wine for art events. The elephant was her favorite animal and the detailed beads around it gave an atmosphere of delicate artifacts you would see in a display cabinet. Above, I continued using a theme of red, white, metallic and semi-transparent objects. The shelf with four kinds of dice displayed a sense of variety while things like the wine cart brought forward a sense of class, and the radio for a sense of fun. ... Cabinet Column :: Amethyst After coining the phrase Cabinet Column to describe this art style, I aimed to construct a taller cabinet onto a narrow panel of wood which I had been reluctant to use. This violet cabinet would ultimately become known as Amethyst. Yet even with the tall cabinet in place, the back panel's height left an empty amount of space beneath the cabinet. So I inserted a new feature I called a "Medallion Panel" with a white piece of marble in the center to act as a footer for the full art piece. Working up the cabinet's four story structure, it was itemized with focus of orange, blue and metallic yellow objects ranging from orbs, toy soldiers, books, and a display of reflective silver plates to allure the viewer's curiosity into the cabinet. At the top of the cabinet, behind the tall door, I placed a gold lion standing on a blue globe which represented the world, thus crowning this cabinet with a watchful guardian, similar to the statues on the historical Trajan Column or the Column of Marcus Aurelius. ... Cabinet Column :: Heliodor The last of the first Cabinet Column series was Heliodor, a golden cabinet with a regal toned background of burgundy reds, luminous rays of orange and dark violet. I again felt the need to use the Medallion Panel approach again, so I mounted a clear pendent with an etching of the god Triton inside. The cabinet itself was lined with darker objects to compliment items of tinted green and bright orange. This cabinet seemed to focus more on "tools" and the counter in the center of the cabinet column was made into a work space for sowing materials. The brighter, more cheerful objects placed in an already bright colored cabinet was done to balance out the darker background, thus creating a distinctive contrast of inner vitality amongst its serious surrounding ambiance. ... Outro This theme of itemizing would become key to circulating color through all the cabinets I continue to make. Even though the later cabinet forms have evolved, the First Cabinet Columns will always have their place as the pillars holding up the fundamental principals for creating new and unique Cabinet Columns. Like the Interiospective paintings, this art series started from a humble concept, but it has continued to develop into more elaborate form of assemblage art.

Free video about catalan fountain This free video was created for you by http://epsos.de and can be used for free under the creative commons license with the attribution of epSos.de as the original author of this fountain video. Thank you for supporting the creative commons movement !! A fountain sometimes called only by the source, is constructed ornamental or not, provided with one or more taps, where jets drinking water. Usually lies in the open to the public, such as squares and gardens. Roman people enjoyed the gardens that were part of the public baths. In Portugal the Idol Fountain is a sanctuary from the Roman era of Bracara Augusta dedicated to river deity. The indoor pools and fountains enjoy at present great popularity, both in residential homes or in their own offices, they offer great tranquility helping small areas to become more serene and personal. Ornamental fountain public: municipal public sources in order to beautify a town. In Barcelona there are more than 230. The most famous is perhaps Barcelona Magic Fountain. The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, or simply called Font de Montjuïc or Magic Fountains is located in the Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina, next to Poble Espanyol in Montjuic (Barcelona). Is the main element of a set of light and water that develops around the axis from the National Palace to the Plaza de España, which includes waterfalls and ponds, and the lower part rows of columns bright either side of the avenue, nowadays replaced by illuminated jets of similar proportions and simpler maintenance. The fountain was built to mark the International Exhibition of 1929 by engineer Carles Buigas Sans and the place where they were located the Four Columns of Josep Puig, demolished in 1928. Of all the games designed for water and electricity have reached us Buïgas four major waterfalls and the large central fountain. Since it was built the fountain has become a tourist attraction and an international icon of Barcelona. During these years has suffered from neglect and damage by wear with their own operation. The set of monuments and sculptures outdoors of Barcelona is an outstanding example of public art that gives the Catalan capital in conjunction with other elements such as its architecture, its network of museums whole of parks and gardens, an unmistakable artistic, as the Catalan capital has always been committed to art and culture as one of its main features identity. The Plaza Catalonia is the largest and most central squares of Barcelona. It is the junction between the old city and the Eixample. Hence depart important roads of the city as the Rambla, the Paseo de Gracia, the Rambla Catalonia, rounds University and St. Peter and Pelayo street, like Avenida del Portal de l'Angel, the great commercial artery of the city, and old gate in the walls. Catalonia Square is the center of the two networks of night buses in the metropolitan area of Barcelona: Nitbus and the Intercity Bus Service Night. Many of the lines originate or are there are stops and serving as liaison between the lines. After the Second Republic has granted broad autonomy of Catalonia in 1932, the square became public space for social events and divisions between actors of political life. Musical fountain - the type of animated fountain for entertainment purposes, which creates an aesthetic design and three-dimensional image. Sound waves and light is projected on a water screen created by the strict distribution of water jet fountain nozzles, and then refracted and reflected, creates a three-dimensional image. Many of the more famous are large-scale, and used by hundreds of fountain nozzles and laser projectors, the cost of some - millions of dollars, but there are also smaller "home" items. Example - musical fountains on the island of Sentosa in Singapore. Interactive fountain with touch controls designed and installed the Krasnodar company "Vater Lab". The fountain can be turned on or off any of the 120 jets of the fountain in random order, set their height, the heyday of any of the 120 floodlights Fountain in any color, to control music fountain. Most of the time the fountain is working on the program laid down, but when a visitor comes to touch the monitor console and presses the virtual button or move the controller, the shape of the water pattern is changing, following instructions of the visitor, and the fountain became obedient to him. Around the control monitor is always a lot of people. Change the water for a long time the images are stored, and children and adults. Thank you for supporting the creative commons movement !!

Face off between Indian army and Chinese army at Sikkim border. I don't vouch for the authenticity of the undated video. In another transgression, Chinese troops entered India in the Sikkim sector and jostled with Indian army personnel guarding the Sino-India frontier, besides destroying two bunker. The face-off has been going on in Doka La general area in Sikkim for the past ten days and the Chinese troops have also stopped the batch of pilgrims that was proceeding for Kailash Mansovar yatra, official sources said today. The Indian troops had to struggle hard to stop the Chinese personnel from advancing further into Indian territory. They formed a human wall along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) to stop the PLA personnel, some of whom also videographed and clicked pictures of the incident. The bunkers have been destroyed in Lalten area of the Doka La area. A flag meeting was also held between senior army officers of both the sides on June 20, but the tension still continues. It is not the first time that such a transgression has happened at the Doka La, a place at the Sikkim-Bhutan-Tibet tri-junction. The Chinese forces had in November 2008 destroyed some makeshift Indian army bunkers at the same place.

Episode 3, "Connecting the Dots", documents two solo exhibitions held at Las Cienegas Projects during the month of March: Ken Gonzales-Day's "Profiled" and Dorit Cypis' "A Symmetry". Both artists rely heavily upon the photograph to capture evidence of their contentions. Moreover, the photographs are arranged in such a way as to reflect upon each other in order for the viewer to form comparisions and conjectures about their relationships within a wide sociohistorical context. Gonzales-Day intermingles collections of 19th and early 20th century photographs of same-same sex couples with his own large-scale photographs of historic sculptures offering a timely response to debates about same-sex unions and reflects upon the idealization of whiteness, the emergence of racial typologies, and the latent sensuality found in so many museum collections. Cypis explores the psycho-physical-social aspects of history, knowledge, and experience by presenting a time line of photographs charting when seven objects, chosen form the artists's personal archive, were created, sighted, and/or obtained. The stories behind these objects confound their linear indexing suggesting a labyrinthine path of personal, historical, and political dimensions. The objects include a letter by Lord Byron, a letter from King George V, a Weeping Beech tree in Hyde Park, London, a silver box engraved with Arabic text, pre-biblical urns and vessels, post enlightenment European porcelain, and a tree in Yosemite National Park. The episode features interviews with Ken Gonzales-Day, Dorit Cypis and Amy Thoner, director and co-founder of Las Cienegas Projects. Ken Gonzales-Day lives and works in Los Angeles. His interdisciplinary and conceptually grounded projects consider the history of photography, the construction of race, and the history of representational systems ranging from the lynching photograph to museum display. He received an MFA from UC Irvine, MA from Hunter College (C.U.N.Y), and was a fellow at the Whitney Museum's ISP program.  He has shown extensively both nationally and internationally. Select solo exhibitions include UCSD Art Gallery, San Diego; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Steve Turner Contemporary, Los Angeles; LAXART, Los Angeles; CUE Art Foundation, NYCSusanne Vielmetter Projects, Los Angeles; Deep River, Los Angeles; and White Columns White Room, NYC.  Select group exhibitions include How Many Billboards, MAK Center, West HollywoodPhantom Sightings, LACMA, Los Angeles; Encuentro Hemispherico, Bogota; Under Erasure, Temple Bar Gallery and Studios, Dublin; Under Pain of DeathAustrian Cultural Forum, NYC; ArtMediaPolitique, DIX291, Paris; Crimes of Omission,ICA PhiladelphiaExile of the Imaginary: Aesthetics, Politics, LoveGenerali Foundation, Vienna; Civil Restitutions, Thomas Dane Gallery, LondonLog Cabin, Artists Space, NYC; Made in California, LACMA, Los Angeles, among others. Dorit Cypis has used performative strategies, photography, and social sculpture to explore identity as psychophysical and political since the 1980's. Her work has been presented at the Whitney Museum of American Art, International Center of Photography, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Orange County Museum, Walker Art Center, Musee d'Art Contemporain/Montreal, Musee desBeaux Arts/Bruxelles, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Orange County Museum of Art, in addition to international galleries and artist spaces. Cypis has taught on the topics of identity, representation, social relations, and conflict transformation at universities and colleges across the USA as well as in Canada, Holland, FranceSwitzerland, and Israel.  She is currently teaching at Otis Center for Art and Design. Cypis has designed and directed public programs including Kulture Klub Collaborative, Minneapolis, 1992-1998, (artists working with homeless youth to develop their capacity for creative expression) and Foundation for Art Resources, FAR, Los Angeles, 1979-1982, (assisting artists to work collectively and to situate art in the public domain). She earned an MFA (1977) from Californian Institute of the Arts, and after completing a Masters of Dispute Resolution (2005), Cypis founded and currently directs Foreign Exchanges, developing tools of engagement across personal and cultural differences.
